Road Safety Messages for parents, carers and teachers.
1. Always hold your child’s hand when crossing the road
2. Always walk between the traffic and your child,
especially on a busy road.
3. Explain why we need to choose a safe place to cross
the road.
4. When you are out with you child , point out different
road crossings that are safe to use eg zebra crossings,
pelican crossings, bridges and subways.
5. Make sure that your child travels safely in your car
by using the correct booster or car seat that is
appropriate for their age and size
